"Since I started this game, I've been wanting to go play abroad.
And I can say time has come, so I'm very happy," Ngari said on the sidelines of the tournament.
"I'm ready, though I still need support in terms of finances," Ngari added before his travel plans were ultimately halted by a visa denial.
Despite administrative hurdles, regional teams like G9 Mnazini in Ruaka, Oche Addicts in Ndenderu, and the Morans in Parklands continue to expand local league play.
John Munyui, a veteran player in his 60s who returned to the sport after a long hiatus, praised the current restructuring efforts.
"It's good that Sirua has come and collected darts from where it was," Munyui noted during a recent tournament.
Emerging youth talents are also entering the ranks, including 14-year-old Aryan Khalsa, who finished 25th in the league circuit last season.

"I hope to be picked to go play international events and one day go to PDC," Khalsa said.
