Andy Burnham has been confirmed as the next leader of the Labour Party after receiving a total of 349 nominations from Labour MPs.
The figure includes an extra 27 nominations secured on Monday, according to The Guardian.

This level of support makes it impossible for any other candidate to reach the 81 endorsements needed to trigger a leadership challenge.
Last week, nearly 80% of the parliamentary Labour party had already formally nominated Burnham.
Key Endorsements
Among the new backers was Communities Secretary Steve Reed, a key ally of outgoing leader Keir Starmer.
Reed was the only Cabinet member who had not nominated Burnham last week.
Shabana Mahmood and Anna Turley did not nominate anyone due to conventions tied to their roles as chairs of Labour's national executive committee and the party.
Starmer also abstained from the nomination process on Monday by convention as the outgoing leader.

Other figures who endorsed Burnham on Monday included junior ministers Chris Bryant and Mike Tapp.
Former minister Jess Phillips and Richard Burgon, secretary of the leftwing Socialist Campaign Group of Labour MPs, also added their support.
Burnham is the sole candidate to replace Starmer.
He is expected to officially take over the Labour leadership at a special party conference on Friday.
Following the transition, Burnham will become prime minister three days later on July 20.

Despite running unopposed, Burnham is still scheduled to participate in an online hustings with Labour MPs later on Monday.
