Great Wall Motor has updated the Ora Ballet Cat for 2026, giving it more power while keeping its distinctive retro looks and quirky female-focused features.
The electric hatchback now comes with a 201 hp motor, up from 169 hp.
According to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, top speed increases from 96 mph to 112 mph.
The battery remains a lithium-iron phosphate unit, though it is unclear if capacity has been upgraded.
Female-Centric Features Remain
The Ballet Cat retains its large vanity mirror for applying makeup, small storage compartments for lip gloss and foundation, and a built-in selfie camera that uploads photos directly to social media.
The most talked-about feature, 'Warm Man Mode,' is still present. This setting raises the climate control temperature with a single press, intended to help women during menstruation.
First introduced in 2022, the Ballet Cat borrows heavily from the classic VW Beetle design, with chrome bumpers, bulging wheel arches, and curvy windows.
