The collaboration introduces younger gamers to the British luxury brand.
War rarely serves as an aspirational backdrop, yet it is becoming an increasingly common setting for brand collaborations.
Aston Martin is the latest automaker to step into that arena. The Dreadnought was designed alongside Infinity Ward and Activision, free from production engineering or safety regulations.
The result is what Aston Martin calls the ultimate tactical performance SUV. It resembles a cross between an Aston Martin and a futuristic Humvee.

Infinity Ward says it worked closely with Aston Martin to ensure the vehicle's animation, handling, and physics reflected the brand's performance.
The name Dreadnought references the revolutionary British battleship HMS Dreadnought. Aston Martin imagined reserve fuel tanks, integrated weapons storage, adaptive combat systems, and heavy armor plating.
Stefano Saporetti, Aston Martin's Director of Brand Diversification, described the collaboration as a way to engage “the luxury consumers of tomorrow.”
Few Call of Duty players are likely shopping for a DB12 or DBX today, but introducing the brand inside one of gaming's biggest franchises could pay dividends years down the road.
The Dreadnought will appear in both DMZ and Warzone when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23.
