The G-Wagen was listed on Cars & Bids earlier this week. According to the window sticker, the SUV originally cost $172,355.

The owner then spent roughly $50,000 on exterior and interior upgrades, pushing the total investment to over $222,000.
Alibaba Bodykit and Wheels
The most noticeable change is the bodykit, described as a Carlex Design-style treatment.
However, invoices show it's an imitation kit ordered from Alibaba for $18,300, not a genuine Carlex product.
The SUV also wears a set of 22-inch wheels purchased from Alibaba for $5,000.

The two-tone wrap—silver on the top half and satin black on the bottom—gives it a retro look that many find appealing.
Inside, the seats, door panels, and steering wheel are trimmed in red and black leather.
While some may like the bold color, it likely proved too dramatic for most buyers.
Bidding ended at $160,000, despite the odometer showing only 79 miles (127 km).
