The international attacker revealed he had direct conversations with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta prior to finalizing the transfer.
"We talked about everything - about the club, about myself, about his plans, about me of course, about the team," said Tzolis.
"It was only positive things. I'm a direct player, I go for goals or assists.
That's my point of view as an attacker, as a winger. I'm always hungry to score or to give the final pass to my team-mates.
And I can say I work hard for the team, also in the defensive part."

In addition to his domestic form, Tzolis created 135 total chances last season, including 52 from set-piece situations, and generated European goal contributions in Champions League matches against Atalanta, Atletico Madrid, and Barcelona.
