Fifteen-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed his first international half-century to lead India to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Zimbabwe in a Twenty20 match in Harare on Thursday.
Sooryavanshi scored 50 runs off just 18 balls, making quick work of India's run chase of 126.

The opening batter struck four sixes, clearing backward square, long-off, fine leg, and long-on before top-edging an attempted cut off Richard Ngarava to fall at 68-2 on the very next delivery.
India reached the target at 126-3, securing Shreyas Iyer his first victory as captain in eight T20 matches.
Zimbabwe had earlier been held to 125-7 after Mayank Yadav and Prince Yadav took two wickets each for the visiting side.

Sooryavanshi recently surpassed Sachin Tendulkar as the youngest player to represent India, according to the Associated Press.
The selectors placed him in the lineup following a modest output in the T20 series against England, where he posted scores of 14, 13, and 15 at a strike rate of 168 before being rested in a 4-0 series loss.
The team management hoped the teenager would regain his rhythm at the same venue in Harare where he previously scored 175 off 80 balls against England in the Under-19 World Cup final in February.

The three-match T20 series continues with the second fixture scheduled for Saturday.
