PSV Eindhoven technical director Earnest Stewart confirmed that defender Armando Obispo has rejoined the squad at the club's German training camp after a proposed transfer to French side RC Lens fell through.
The two clubs had agreed on a €5.5 million fee, but the deal collapsed when Obispo failed to reach personal terms with the Ligue 1 club.

Stewart addressed the failed move and Obispo's immediate return. "We had a telephone conversation.
To switch the button as soon as possible is, according to us, the best option. He will report to the group again on Tuesday," Stewart said.
The club has faced multiple transfer setbacks recently, with another potential departure involving Adamo Nagalo also falling through before the team's pre-season schedule in Germany.
"It is different from a summer ago. But recognizable from two summers ago, when the EURO was," Stewart noted.
Unlike last summer when key players left on free transfers, PSV now holds existing contracts for most of its roster, giving them a strategic advantage.
"We all now have contracts that run through. That creates a different dynamic and also means that in some cases you are reactive.
Who do clubs come for, and who don't? You can then act accordingly.
Strategically, it's just slightly different," Stewart explained.
"Last year we really had to fill quite a number of positions; then you can also ring the bell a bit earlier.
