Speedball Mike Bailey emerged victorious in a six-way ladder match at AEW's inaugural Redemption pay-per-view on Sunday night in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The 20-minute opening bout featured Bailey against El Clon, The Beast Mortos, Jack Perry, Komander, and Nick Wayne.

Bailey secured the win by executing an Ultima Weapon off the top rope onto The Beast Mortos, who was positioned atop a corner ladder, before climbing to retrieve the number one contender's contract.
The match included several high-risk spots, starting with Bailey performing a moonsault off a ladder onto all five opponents on the entrance stage.
Outside the ring, multiple table crashes occurred, including Komander executing a tightrope plancha onto Wayne, and Wayne later delivering a Phoenix Splash to El Clon.

Perry also delivered a Canadian Destroyer to Wayne onto a ladder set up inside the ring.
With the victory, Bailey earned the right to challenge for his first-ever AEW singles title.

He will face the winner of the AEW International Championship match between Kyle Fletcher and Bandido.
