Bailey will now face either current champion Kyle Fletcher or contender Bandido.
He previously showed strong chemistry with Fletcher during a TNT Championship match on Dynamite earlier this year. A matchup against Bandido would be their first meeting in AEW.

Commentator Nigel McGuinness described the arena reaction during one sequence as a "stunned silence."
Despite sustaining an injury during the match, Beast Mortos attempted to climb the ladder before being stopped by Perry.
