Real Madrid has become the only club actively pursuing Ivorian winger Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
Paris Saint-Germain officially withdrew from the transfer race, according to Sky Sport Germany correspondent Florian Plettenberg on July 26, 2026.

PSG decided to exit the negotiations after deeming the financial requirements set by the German club too high for their planned budget.
"Paris Saint-Germain have withdrawn their interest and offers to sign Yan Diomande, as the requested salary does not align with the club's budget and principles," an official statement from the French club read.
"The management does not wish to abandon the current financial system and prefers to preserve the team's balance."

No Agreement Yet
Despite PSG's departure, Plettenberg reported that no formal or preliminary agreement has been finalized between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig.
This directly refutes reports claiming a completed deal.

Negotiations between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig are scheduled to resume on Monday. The Spanish club currently holds the strongest position to complete the transfer.
