Looking ahead, Lutkenhaus and his team are focused on preparing for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
"I just knew with this being the last race for basically six months - until next indoor season - I was like, 'I really want to end it on a bang,'" Lutkenhaus said.
"I just really wanted to come out here and give it everything I had because I'm not going to have an effort like this for a while."
Reflecting on his rookie professional year, Lutkenhaus rated it a "9.5 out of 10," highlighting significant growth and steady improvement.
"I've grown a lot, honestly," he said. "When you start something brand new, you think of all the things that could possibly go wrong.

But... I felt like I just kept getting a little bit better throughout the year."
