Feyenoord is set to receive a guaranteed €15 million from the transfer of winger Leo Sauer to Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart, according to Dutch media reports.
The total compensation for the 20-year-old Slovakian international could rise further through performance-based add-ons, with De Telegraaf and Algemeen Dagblad reporting that Feyenoord has also secured a sell-on clause for any future transfer.
The move is pending a successful medical examination before Sauer signs a multi-year contract with Stuttgart.
The German club earned a spot in the upcoming Champions League after finishing fourth in the Bundesliga last season.
Stuttgart outbid fellow Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim during negotiations for the winger.
Sauer's Injury and Feyenoord Career
Sauer did not participate in Feyenoord's preseason preparations due to a hamstring injury that also sidelined him at the end of last season.
The forward's contract with the Rotterdam club ran through mid-2028.
He originally joined Feyenoord's academy from MSK Zilina.
Sauer made his official debut under former manager Arne Slot on August 20, 2023, scoring against Sparta Rotterdam.
In total, he made 44 official appearances for Feyenoord, recording six goals and six assists.
