Ian Beale has been sentenced to eight months in prison following a court hearing over a hit-and-run incident involving Jordan Fox.

Ian's lawyer expressed cautious optimism about a suspended sentence due to Jordan's improving condition. The defense hoped Chelsea Fox, Jordan's mother, would support Ian in court.

Without her testimony, the judge emphasized Ian's role as a local councillor demanded greater responsibility.
"On one hand, I have your guilty plea and the remorse I can tell that you feel – and the medical report on Jordan Fox," the judge said.

"On the other hand, you were over the limit and your role as a local councillor should make you even more cautious about such things.
I therefore sentence you to eight months in prison."
Ian's family gathered at court to support him. He broke down in tears when the custodial sentence was handed down.
Chelsea's guilt deepened after missing the court appearance.
She called Ian to express her intention to help, but transport delays prevented her arrival in time to influence the case.
Following the sentencing, tensions escalated between the Beale and Fox families. Kathy Beale confronted Chelsea, slapping her in anger over the outcome.
