Italian Serie B side Venezia defeated Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray 3-0 in a preseason friendly held in Austria on July 27, 2026.
The match was part of both teams' preparations for the upcoming domestic seasons.
John Yeboah opened the scoring for Venezia in the 71st minute, breaking the deadlock.
Just four minutes later, Lion Lauberbach converted a penalty kick in the 75th minute to double Venezia's lead.
Galatasaray had a chance to reduce the deficit after being awarded a penalty in the 90th minute, but forward Baris Alper Yilmaz missed the spot kick.
Venezia sealed the victory in stoppage time when Lauberbach scored his second goal of the match in the 92nd minute.
The result follows Galatasaray's previous preseason results under manager Okan Buruk: a 5-1 win over Umraniyespor and a 2-0 loss to Monza.
