A 23-year-old aircraft engineer died after being crushed by machinery while conducting maintenance tests inside a Boeing 787 fuel tank at London Heathrow Airport.
Georgie Buxton, who had worked for Virgin Atlantic for two years, suffered severe injuries in a hangar at the UK's busiest airport.

She remained in an intensive care unit on life support for four weeks before passing away in the hospital.
Investigation Underway
Officials have grounded the aircraft and launched a comprehensive safety investigation.
An unidentified source expressed grief over the loss of the young worker. "Georgie was a young and very loved member of the team," the source said.
The source highlighted the sudden nature of the tragic incident and the immediate safety steps taken. "Everyone at Virgin is in shock," the source added.
The source noted uncertainty surrounding the cause and emphasized strict safety measures.
"It was not immediately clear what caused the death, and officials have grounded the jet until further notice on safety grounds," the source said.
"Heavy metal cannot fall from a jet machinery and the plane be allowed to continue flying," the source stressed.
Virgin Atlantic issued an official statement extending condolences.
"We are heartbroken to confirm that a much-loved member of our engineering team has passed away," a spokesperson said.
The airline expressed support for those grieving.
"Our thoughts are firmly with Georgie’s family, loved ones, friends and colleagues at this incredibly sad and challenging time," the spokesperson said.
