"This is a great day for him because Mookie is launching the brand LGND."
Rojas highlighted the broader impact Betts aims to make beyond his individual playing accomplishments.
"He's trying to do so many good things around the game of baseball, not just for the kids, but for parents, for shortstops playing in the next generation," said Rojas.
"I think the work that he does off the field is remarkable."
In addition to supporting his teammate, Rojas holds a personal business connection to the initiative through his investment in Perfect Game alongside former agent Rick Thurman.
"This collaboration actually is involving both of us because I'm part of Perfect Game brand and I'm invested in that company," said Rojas.
"Now Mookie Glove LGND is going to be part of what Perfect Game is doing."

Looking ahead, Rojas mentioned that he and Betts have discussed future joint endeavors beyond their current playing careers.
"Mookie and I have been talking about things in the future that we can do together," said Rojas.
Rojas expressed an intention to stay involved in mentoring players once his active playing career ends after this season.
"I'm so happy that I can be an outlet for him to continue to get better every single day," said Rojas.
"I'm looking forward to doing that after my career is over after this year.
I want to continue to help him and other infielders around the world and in this organization."
