William Parra converted an 85th-minute penalty to give El Salvador's Alianza FC a 2-1 victory over Antigua GFC of Guatemala in the Concacaf Central American Cup on Wednesday night.
The match took place at Cuscatlan Stadium in San Salvador.

Harold Osorio opened the scoring for the home side in the 30th minute with a right-footed shot inside the penalty box.
Antigua equalized in the 76th minute through a long-range half-volley by Oscar Castellanos.
Parra then secured the three points for Alianza late in the second half from the spot.

Antigua controlled 55 percent of possession and outshot Alianza 16-9 overall and 6-2 on target.
However, Alianza created higher quality scoring opportunities, finishing with 1.4 expected goals (xG) compared to 0.7 xG for the visitors, according to Concacaf match statistics.

Castellanos' equalizer registered a value of 0.007 xG, the lowest expected goal probability converted into a score in the Central American Cup tournament so far.
Defensively for Antigua, Dilan Palencia recorded nine clearances.
Traveling fans joined local supporters at the venue, including Guatemalan supporter Jorge Rosales, who expressed confidence that the club would advance despite a difficult group stage.
The victory marks Alianza's third home win in the competition's history.

Group B fixtures continue next week, with Antigua hosting Real Esteli FC on Tuesday and Alianza hosting CS Herediano on Wednesday.
