The BBC has announced a star-studded lineup for the upcoming Gladiators: Celebrity Special, set to air later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.
TV presenter and current Big Brother host AJ Odudu, comedian Chris Ramsey, social media personality George Clarke, and comedian Sara Pascoe will compete in the arena.

The celebrities will take on fan-favorite events including Duel, Unleash, and Powerball before facing the final Eliminator, testing their skill, power, and agility against the Gladiators.
Odudu expressed her excitement: "I am stepping inside the TV to do the show I wanted to do as a kid, it’s so exciting."
Ramsey, a former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, shared mixed feelings: "As someone who religiously watched Gladiators as a kid, it’s beyond incredible to be taking part in the show myself!
However, a large part of me does wish it could have been while I was in my 20’s and not 40… but there you go."
He added, "I’m looking forward to the challenge, the excitement, the crowd and going head-to-head with the Gladiators and the inevitable months of rehab and physiotherapy that will no doubt follow."

Clarke joked about the costume requirements: "I was missing the BBC packing me into a small tight outfit, so Gladiators felt perfect!
Unfortunately, I don’t think I can rely on a partner to carry me through this one. Might have to get training!"
Pascoe also shared her thoughts: "Celebrity Gladiators is the ideal opportunity for me to live out my childhood dream of humiliating myself on national television."
Bradley and Barney Walsh will return as hosts, overseeing the contestants as they showcase their speed, strength, and charisma in the arena.

The special is produced by Hungry Bear Media and MGM Alternative UK for BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with broadcast details to be announced.
