Aberdeen has completed the signing of former Scotland international defender Chris Cadden from Hibernian on a two-year contract.
The transfer fee remains undisclosed, and the move was finalized on July 31, 2026.

The 29-year-old right-back becomes the club's 12th arrival of the summer transfer window, bringing extensive Scottish Premiership experience to Pittodrie.
Cadden spent five-and-a-half seasons at Hibernian, making 166 appearances in all competitions.
During his time at Easter Road, he helped the club achieve third-place league finishes and reach domestic cup finals, and he also scored against FK Partizan in European competition.
His departure from Hibernian came after concerns over guaranteed game time, as Felix Passlack was assigned the starting right-back role.

Aberdeen manager Stephen Robinson expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with Cadden, having previously managed him at Motherwell.
"Chris is a brilliant addition to our group, not just because of what he'll bring on the pitch, but because of the character and professionalism he'll add to the dressing room," said Robinson.
Robinson highlighted Cadden's versatility and familiarity with the Scottish top flight as crucial assets for the upcoming campaign.
"With extensive Scottish Premiership experience, as well as spells in MLS and the EFL and caps for Scotland, he brings real depth and know-how to the squad," said Robinson.
The Dons boss noted that Cadden possesses strong offensive drive combined with defensive consistency.
"He has a great engine, always shows a willingness to get forward and support the attack, but he's also matured into a really dependable full-back defensively.
