Television analyst Tina Nijkamp reported on August 1, 2026, that tickets for the eighth season of The Masked Singer were sold out within 30 minutes.

She also shared details about the filming schedule at Studio Aalsmeer, which runs from August 31 to October 28.

Regular recording tickets cost 15 euros, while the season finale was priced at 17.50 euros.

Nijkamp evaluated the schedule on her Instagram account to draw conclusions about the upcoming lineup.

"Have you always wanted to go? Unfortunately, it was sold out within half an hour!"

wrote Nijkamp.

The schedule includes nine recording sessions in total. Nijkamp noted that this leaves no room for special holiday editions later in the broadcast cycle.

"9 recordings also means that there will be no New Year's Eve special or King's Day special.

Last year there were 10 recording days, 9 of which were regular episodes," she wrote.

Voice of Holland Coaching Panel

In a separate analysis, Nijkamp suggested that RTL 4 revamp The Voice of Holland by hiring internationally recognized coaches.

The talent show resumed last year after being halted in 2022 due to reports of sexually inappropriate behavior behind the scenes.

Nijkamp pointed to the Australian edition of the franchise, which added prominent musicians to its panel.

She argued that local networks should consider similar bold moves despite language differences.
