Mitsuoka Motors has released a third teaser for its mysterious new roadster, confirming that the car will feature styling inspired by the C1 Corvette.
The latest image shows the rear quarter of the vehicle, revealing proportions and details that align with the open-top silhouette hinted at in the first teaser.

The roadster, which is expected to debut in November 2026, appears to be a two-seater with quad headlights reminiscent of the post-1958 C1 Corvette.
Underneath its retro bodywork, the car is believed to ride on Mazda MX-5 underpinnings, a common practice for Mitsuoka.
Mitsuoka's Tradition of Rebodying
Mitsuoka is known for creating unique vehicles by rebodying existing production cars.
The upcoming roadster follows this tradition, with the design sketch bearing the signature of Takanori Aoki, who also designed the Himiko and the Rock Star.

The body features round headlights, a large grille, side gills that echo the C1 Corvette, and sculpted rear fenders.
Additional details include a sharp splitter, sporty side skirts, and a diffuser.
If based on the MX-5 ND, the roadster will likely be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 181 hp (135 kW / 184 PS), paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Mitsuoka has promised more teasers in July, August, and September, leading up to the official reveal in November.

The car is expected to be a limited-run model for the Japanese market.
