The car was developed by GM and Pratt & Miller for the Pirelli World Challenge GT Championship.

It took just eight months to build, but quickly proved successful on track.

Drivers Johnny O’Connell and Andy Pilgrim secured three Driver Championships with the CTS-V. R Coupe across the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons.

The car also helped Cadillac win the manufacturers’ title in 2012 and 2013.

Racing History and Current Condition

This particular example is chassis number #3. It was raced by Jordan Taylor during the 2012 and 2013 seasons, including a podium finish.

The current owner bought it directly from GM.

Instead of storing it, they used it in historic racing events for five seasons, covering more than 35 race weekends.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LS3 V8 with less than five hours of use.

It is paired with an Xtrac transmission that also has fewer than five hours on it.

The sale includes a full spares package. This features spare bodywork, multiple sets of wheels, spare brakes, suspension parts, and new subframes.
