However, midfielder Maiara Niehues returns to availability following a two-game suspension, while 22-year-old midfielder Carina Lageyre remains in the spotlight after making her first professional start last Sunday.
Angel City manager Alex Straus addressed the roster challenges and heavy May schedule during his Sunday post-match remarks.
"I'm very proud of the players and the way they've worked and what they've done over the last (few) weeks, even though we haven't had the luck on our side," said Straus.

Straus emphasized the need to balance defensive organization with offensive efficiency as the team targets a return to the win column.
"I think there are moments in the game where we are dominating and there are also moments where we have to defend," said Straus.
He noted that the team created enough opportunities against Portland but acknowledged areas requiring development.
"We create enough to score a goal in a very difficult environment, difficult away game against a team that in the last couple of weeks maybe has had a little bit more wind in their sails than we have had maybe in the last couple of weeks.
I'm proud we got a point in a difficult away game, but (at) the same time we can be better," said Straus.
With a shortened rotation, Straus noted that multiple squad members must prepare for heavy workloads across three matches in a single week.
"We don't have the biggest roster available, so a lot of players have to play three games (this week)," said Straus.
