The San Antonio Spurs are dealing with significant injury concerns as they prepare to host the Oklahoma City Thunder for Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Frost Bank Center.

Point guard DeAaron Fox is listed as day-to-day with an ankle injury, while guard Dylan Harper is also day-to-day after sustaining a leg injury during the third quarter of Game 2.

The physical toll on the Spurs roster has been evident. Four San Antonio starters logged at least 35 minutes in Game 2, following a double-overtime opening match.

In contrast, the Thunder kept all but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander under 30 minutes.

Turnover Issues Plague San Antonio

Stephon Castle has taken over primary ball-handling duties for the Spurs, scoring 25 points in Game 2.

However, he has committed 20 combined turnovers across the first two games of the series.

The Thunder have capitalized on these errors.

Their defense limited Victor Wembanyama to just 10 paint points in Game 2 by deploying defenders Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren, and Alex Caruso near the rim.

Oklahoma City also has a minor lineup concern, as forward Jalen Williams remains day-to-day with a hamstring injury ahead of the matchup in San Antonio.
