Broadcast and Predictions
The matchup will broadcast nationally on ION, with streaming options available via Fubo and WNBA League Pass.
Analysts provided contrasting score predictions ahead of the tip-off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
"Golden State is coming to Indiana on the second day of a back-to-back; the Valkyries beat New York on Thursday night.
Travel back-to-backs never fare well for the visiting team, but I think Golden State is still going to give Indiana a run for its money — especially if Caitlin Clark (back; probable) ends up not playing on Friday for the second straight game," said Chloe Peterson, IndyStar columnist.
The Valkyries previously allowed an average of 76.3 points per game last season, while the Fever averaged 84.9 points offensively.
IndyStar analysts noted that the local crowd expects a high-energy environment for the game.
"Golden State beat New York on Thursday, then hopped on a plane for Indianapolis.
It should be a raucous home crowd for the Fever and, not to be forgotten in all the hubbub, they have won back-to-back games.
I’m looking for them to continue the momentum and secure another win entering the week-long layoff," said Brian Haenchen, IndyStar columnist.
Following this game, the Indiana Fever will have a multi-day break before traveling to face the Golden State Valkyries again on May 28 at 10 p.
