Connor Hellebuyck, the star goaltender for the Winnipeg Jets, is reportedly being monitored by several NHL rivals as trade rumors swirl.
The Jets experienced a sharp decline in the 2025-26 season, falling near the bottom of the standings.

Hellebuyck played 57 games under an $8.5 million annual contract that runs through 2030-31.
Potential Suitors Emerge
NHL insider Jeff Marek suggested that Buffalo Sabres General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen should aggressively pursue Hellebuyck to upgrade the team's goaltending depth after a deep playoff run.
"One thing I suggested a couple of days ago and if I am the Buffalo Sabres I am looking at Winnipeg for Connor Hellebuyck," Marek said.

Marek noted that Buffalo's goaltenders—Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Alex Lyon, and Colten Ellis—suffered from injuries and inconsistent play during the postseason, creating a need for a top-tier roster upgrade in the crease.
The Florida Panthers and Los Angeles Kings also stand out as potential trade destinations. Florida has head coach Paul Maurice, who previously coached Hellebuyck in Winnipeg.
