PSV Eindhoven is encountering unexpected difficulties in its summer transfer plans as negotiations to sign AS Roma left-back Anass Salah-Eddine have stalled, according to Eindhovens Dagblad.
The stagnation in talks comes amid reports that Brazilian utility player Mauro Junior, the club's longest-serving current squad member, is considering an exit during the upcoming transfer window.

Personal Terms Remain Unresolved
Journalist Rik Elfrink reported that while PSV is prepared to meet the €8 million fee required by AS Roma, a personal agreement with Salah-Eddine has not yet been reached.
“PSV has managed to sit down with the defender's management, but still no deal has been made,” Elfrink wrote.

“This fuels the thought that Salah-Eddine wants to wait for now, while PSV wants to nail things down quickly.”
The hesitation from the player's camp conflicts with PSV's desire to finalize squad depth early ahead of the new season.
