Juventus sees the 27-year-old as a key addition to strengthen their defense. The club considers him an ideal replacement if current defender Gleison Bremer leaves the team.

A move to Turin would reunite Kim with manager Luciano Spalletti. The player thrived under Spalletti during their time together at Napoli before his move to Germany.
