Kimi Antonelli secured his fifth consecutive victory at the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, June 7, 2026, navigating a chaotic race marked by early crashes and damaged asphalt.

The Mercedes driver maintained his lead ahead of Lewis Hamilton during a standing restart after a red flag caused by a collision that forced Carlos Sainz out of the race.

Max Verstappen also retired early following a crash at the initial start.

Isack Hadjar claimed the final podium spot in third place after stewards cleared him of a potential disqualification over car modifications during the red flag.

The French driver struggled with technical issues throughout the street circuit race.

"We had a good start, but I had problems early on, and that's the last thing you want here.

It was very challenging, and towards the end I lacked power," said Hadjar, who drives for Renault.

The podium finish was a major relief for Hadjar after officials confirmed that temporary adjustments to his vehicle complied with technical regulations.

"It's an incredible weekend, one of those days when we had such good speed and everything went smoothly.

The car felt great and gave me the confidence to push," said Antonelli.

Antonelli extended his winning streak to five races, approaching Max Verstappen's record of ten consecutive wins set in 2023.

"The work isn't done yet; it's going to be a long season and we have to keep pushing.
