Corendon has deployed a Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft to Curacao to support fan travel during the 2026 World Cup.
The plane, registered as PH-CDQ, features a special livery representing 'The Blue Wave,' the nickname of the Curacao national football team.

The aircraft completed its last regular commercial flight to and from Hurghada, Egypt on June 4.
It remained grounded at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol until Sunday morning before departing for Willemstad.
The ferry flight made a scheduled stop at Terceira Island in the Azores. It landed in Curacao at approximately 3:30 p.
m. local time.

Flight Operations and Crew
Multiple cockpit and cabin crews traveled aboard the ferry flight to operate upcoming supporter flights.
According to a Corendon spokesperson, these crews will handle rotations linking Curacao directly with Houston, Kansas City, and Philadelphia.
Flight schedules show rotations will run before, during, and after match days.
This follows a previous flight where Corendon transported the Curacao national team from Amsterdam to the island using a chartered Airbus A350.

The Curacao national team will play three group stage matches: against Germany on June 14 at NRG Stadium in Houston, against Ecuador on June 21 at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, and against Ivory Coast on June 25 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
