The Washington Nationals rallied against closer Keaton Winn in the ninth inning to secure a 4-3 comeback victory over the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park on Monday night.
Late-Inning Comeback
Winn entered the ninth protecting a two-run lead but allowed a double to Luis García Jr. and hit Curtis Mead with a pitch.

Both runners advanced on a passed ball and scored when CJ Abrams hit a game-tying single.
Abrams then stole second base and reached home on a single up the middle by Daylen Lile to put Washington ahead.
The Giants had taken the lead in the eighth inning when Bryce Eldridge hit a go-ahead double off Clayton Beeter after Jung Hoo Lee reached first on an infield single.
Gus Varland struck out Eldridge in the bottom of the ninth to record his fifth save of the season, leaving runners stranded at first and third.
Beeter earned the win for Washington, while Winn was saddled with the loss.
Logan Webb pitched eight innings for the Giants, striking out seven batters without issuing a walk while allowing one run and five hits.

Lee finished with four hits for San Francisco, extending his career-best hitting streak to 16 games during a contest marked by a steady early drizzle and windy conditions.
García opened the scoring with an RBI single in the sixth inning off Webb, but the Giants quickly answered with a game-tying single from Matt Chapman in the bottom half of the frame.
Washington starter Richard Lovelady was followed by Miles Mikolas, who threw 4 2/3 scoreless innings before Mitchell Parker surrendered three consecutive two-out hits to San Francisco.
The game also featured a defensive scare in the fourth inning when Lile and center fielder Dylan Crews collided at the left-center wall during a catch on a deep fly ball, though both players remained in the game.
The victory brings Washington back to a . 500 record at 34-34, while San Francisco drops to 27-40 under first-year manager Tony Vitello.

The three-game series continues on Tuesday night as Washington left-hander Andrew Alvarez faces San Francisco right-hander Adrian Houser.
