At the Concert at SEA festival, ten staff members underwent medical evaluation following a nearby lightning strike, with one employee held overnight for observation.
The incident caused brief technical delays for performances before operations resumed.
Weerplaza meteorologist Floris Lafeber provided details on the shifting weather conditions as temperatures hovered above 30 degrees Celsius.
"It will still feel very hot," he said.
The eastern Netherlands will experience continued heat and potential showers before a cooling trend arrives at the start of the week.
"Then it will once again be great weather to do something outdoors," Lafeber added.

Temperatures across the country are projected to drop to between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius starting Monday.
