Honeywell Technologies began operations as an independent, pure-play automation corporation on June 29, 2026, following the completion of the Honeywell Aerospace spin-off.

The separation creates three distinct market entities: Honeywell Technologies, Honeywell Aerospace, and Solstice Advanced Materials.

Honeywell Technologies continues to trade on the Nasdaq under its existing ticker symbol HON.

Honeywell Aerospace shares started trading independently on the Nasdaq under the ticker HONA on the same date.

The spin-off was executed by distributing all outstanding shares of Honeywell Aerospace common stock at 12:01 a.

m. New York City time on June 29, 2026.

Stockholders of record as of June 15, 2026, received one Honeywell Aerospace share for every two Honeywell Technologies shares held, with fractional shares compensated in cash.

Leadership Comments

"Today is a defining moment in Honeywell's legacy," said Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell Technologies.

Kapur noted that each standalone entity now has the strategic focus needed to achieve long-term growth objectives.

"This milestone is the culmination of years of disciplined execution and marks the conclusion of the portfolio transformation we began in 2023," Kapur added.

The management expressed confidence that both independent companies are well-positioned to boost innovation and secure long-term value creation.

According to a Honeywell press release, the restructured Honeywell Technologies plans to guide the industrial sector from standard automation toward autonomous systems by leveraging operational data from its building, industrial, and process sectors.
