"I marked one question that I remembered I had marked before, but the system had assigned the mark I gave to a different question," she said.
The marker noted that system anomalies raise broader questions regarding the ultimate precision of the grading process.
"I reported this, but it raises concerns about whether errors like this could impact final results," she added.
Pearson stated that internal teams are working continuously to process the final sets of pupil data securely.
"Working around the clock to deliver the remaining pupil data," a spokesperson said, stressing that the current focus remains on data accuracy rather than speed.
"Our priority is ensuring that every school and pupil receive complete and accurate results," the spokesperson added.
Whiteman stated that historical precedents of test delivery delays require a formal investigation to prevent future recurrences.
"Not the first time schools have faced delays," he said, concluding that repeated errors undermine the systemic credibility of the entire primary testing framework.
"Once the current issues have been addressed it is vital that they are properly investigated to ensure it is the last," Whiteman added.
The union representative noted that the disruption has placed an unfair burden on families and local educators alike.
"Pupils, parents and schools have been badly let down," he said.
Whiteman argued that the logistical breakdown highlights the structural flaws of the current assessment model.
"Given the fiasco around the marking and return of results, we once again question the whole purpose of these outdated tests," he added.
According to reports from Schools Week, the delay follows a pattern of glitches, including an episode two weeks ago where mathematics markers were diverted to finish outstanding grammar, punctuation, and spelling tests.

The National Association of Schoolmasters Union of Women Teachers previously urged that these core testing assessments be managed entirely within the public sector to maintain institutional stability.
