Dr. Simon Vincent, Chief Scientific Officer at Breast Cancer Now, noted that early diagnosis is crucial for effective treatment.
"With breast cancer cases on the rise, it's never been more important to understand what's driving this trend, to prevent breast cancer developing in the first place where we can, and to diagnose the disease early," he said.

Dr. Vincent also highlighted that at least 23% of cases could be prevented through healthier lifestyle choices, while aging populations and improved survival rates also play a role.
