I think it's possible to have relationships with people who you politically don't align with, and I think this country has always been a place for, for dialogue.
We have to be able to talk to each other," she added.
Despite her close connection to the Kushner family, Kloss clarified that she has no direct relationship with the president himself.
"I have never met President Trump," she stated.
Kloss previously expressed similar sentiments in a 2019 interview with Time magazine. "It's been hard," she told the outlet.

"But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life."
In a 2020 appearance on Diane von Fürstenberg's InCharge with DVF podcast, Kloss spoke about following her heart despite public scrutiny.
"I really followed my heart on choosing to be with the person that I love, despite any complications that came with it.
I knew for me, it was worth it to fight for that," she said.
During that same podcast, Kloss reflected on her career choices and staying true to herself.
"I think that in my career, too, you know, being true to my heart or being true to myself, when I know that something is not aligned with who I am, and the message I want to send to the world, or the kind of person that I want to be, maybe that comes back to character," she shared.
