Saudi Pro League champions Al-Nassr have appointed Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach on a two-year contract, the club announced on Friday, July 3, 2026.
The Australian manager joins the Riyadh-based side following recent stints in the English Premier League.

"A new chapter. Mr Ange Postecoglou appointed as head coach of the Al-Nassr first team.
The contract spans two seasons," the club said in a statement.
The club administration expressed optimism regarding the new management team ahead of upcoming tournament cycles.
"We wish him and his staff every success in their journey," the club added.

Postecoglou's Recent Career
Postecoglou previously managed Tottenham Hotspur, where he secured a Europa League title in 2025.
He was dismissed two weeks later after the team finished 17th in the Premier League.
He then managed Nottingham Forest during the 2025-26 season, which ended after eight consecutive winless matches.
According to reports, the 60-year-old coach had been considered for managerial positions with Scotland and Kazakhstan prior to this agreement.

Postecoglou joins an Al-Nassr squad that features Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who helped the club secure the domestic league title in May.
