The 2018 neo-noir mystery film "Under the Silver Lake," starring Andrew Garfield, is set to leave Netflix on July 5, 2026.

Directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by A24, the film follows an aimless young man in Los Angeles investigating the sudden disappearance of his neighbor.

The investigation leads him into a sprawling conspiracy.

The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018, where it competed for the Palme d'Or. It had a theatrical release on April 19, 2019.

According to Box Office Mojo, the film grossed approximately $2.1 million worldwide against an estimated budget of $8 million.

It opened with $35,270 in two theaters and ended its domestic run with $46,083, while international markets contributed about $2 million.

On Rotten Tomatoes, both critics and audiences gave the thriller a mixed score of 58 percent.

The film did not receive a CinemaScore grade because it did not meet release standards.

Mitchell's next film, "The End of Oak Street," starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, is scheduled for a theatrical release by Warner Bros.
