"I have to be out by July 18, and I haven't finished packing yet. They can't throw us out on a park bench, surely?"

she said.

Co-op Homes, which manages Middlesex Housing Co-op, confirmed the property is being sold to fund new co-operative housing in West London.

Steven Wild, managing director, said the decision was not taken lightly.

"As a small not-for-profit provider, we have to carefully consider the best use of all our properties," Wild said.

He stated the organization is in regular contact with the residents and working with Wokingham Borough Council to find suitable alternative accommodation.

Antink disputes claims of regular contact, saying her attempts to reach the provider have been ignored as the deadline approaches.
