Subaru's WRX saw a dramatic sales rebound in June after the automaker reintroduced an entry-level version and cut prices across the performance range.
The company sold 1,233 WRXs in the United States last month, a 252.3 percent increase compared to the 350 units sold in June 2025.

Through the first half of 2026, WRX sales rose 10.5 percent to 7,108 cars, up from 6,431 in the same period last year.
Entry-Level Model and Price Cuts Drive Demand
The return of a base WRX trim in January, starting at $32,495, undercut the cheapest 2025 version by $5,255.
Subaru has not disclosed sales for that specific trim, but analysts believe it attracted buyers who plan to modify their cars with aftermarket parts.
Price reductions extended across the entire WRX lineup for 2026.
The WRX Premium now starts at $33,995, a $3,755 saving, while the Limited is available from $38,995, down $3,685.

The WRX GT, equipped with a CVT, saw a $2,710 reduction to $44,995. The top-tier WRX tS also dropped by $2,710 to $44,995.
Other Subaru models also performed well in June.
Outback sales rose 32.7 percent to 14,074 units, though first-half sales are down 14.1 percent.
Forester sales increased 43.6 percent to 16,288, making it Subaru's best-selling model for the sixth consecutive month.

Crosstrek posted its strongest June ever with 16,050 sales. Subaru noted that hybrids and electric vehicles accounted for more than 20 percent of its June total.
