The project is set to begin production in New York and New Jersey in July 2026 and is expected to wrap by early November 2026.
David E. Kelley and Kyle Long serve as executive producers and co-showrunners.
According to Netflix's logline, the story follows Myron Bolitar, a former NBA hopeful whose career-ending injury leads him to reinvent himself as a sports agent.
He uses charm and intelligence, alongside a ruthless partner, to navigate the high-stakes world of sports, often risking himself to save his clients.
Author Harlan Coben expressed deep personal attachment to this adaptation. "Certainly Myron Bolitar is dear to my heart," Coben said.
He previously described the series as his "most prized possession" and noted that he has been protective of the property, adding, "I’m really happy now that it’s in the Netflix camp, so that we can work hard on making it right."
