ATAG Interion: No Outdoor Unit Needed
Addressing urban spatial constraints, manufacturer ATAG has released its Interion model, which functions as an indoor hybrid air-to-water heating system that eliminates the need for any external outdoor machinery.
Company officials noted that the installation requires a 250 mm duct and a 300 mm roof passage, utilizing vapor-tight seals and wall brackets to prevent structural vibration on wooden floors.
The system operates under a 48 dB(A) partial load and uses natural R290 propane refrigerant kept safely below the 150-gram threshold.
