"Coming to New York at 13 and having to be on these auditions and being with nefarious men," Larter shared with the New York Times regarding her early modeling career.

"Living in Japan by myself at 17 years old for three months, and then in Italy.

You're vulnerable, and people prey on that, so you've got to get yourself out of those situations."

Her resilience from those early challenges eventually helped her secure the role of Angela Norris in the Paramount+ series "Landman," a character written by Taylor Sheridan.

"Well, it's totally different, so we can't really get our kids to hike anymore. They don't want to do that.

But I can get them to take a bike ride and then do, like, a little cold plunge in the river," Larter explained to Fox News Digital.

The actress recently celebrated the Fourth of July in Idaho with an active mountain getaway, sharing images online.

"We love to barbecue at our house. We love to play with our dogs.

My daughter will probably play some volleyball. We'll go to Leroy's and get an ice cream cone," Larter described regarding family activities.

Larter is currently preparing for the next season of "Landman" while continuing her life in Sun Valley.

Series creator Taylor Sheridan stated regarding her casting: "Ali Larter was essentially out of the business.

She was living up in Sun Valley, Idaho and she put herself on tape and sent it to me (for 'Landman').
