Japanese tuner Damd has introduced a new accessory for the Suzuki Jimny that creates the illusion of a soft-top canopy.
Called the Slash Garnish, the trim piece attaches to the rear side glass, splitting each window into two panes.

The diagonal strip gives the current Jimny a nostalgic split-window silhouette, reminiscent of earlier soft-top versions of the 4x4.
While rear passengers lose some visibility, the trade-off is a more distinctive profile.
Options and Pricing
The Slash Garnish is available unpainted or in three shades: Medium Gray, Jungle Green, and Chiffon Ivory Metallic.
An optional wood panel adds vintage warmth and pairs with Damd's existing wood-infused roof basket.

For a greater optical illusion, the tuner offers a roof and rear pillar wrap in a contrasting color, making the rear roof section look like a hard top.
The garnish can also be combined with a retro styling kit.
Compatibility includes the narrow-body kei-class Jimny and the global-spec Jimny Sierra, but not the five-door Jimny Nomade due to its different greenhouse shape.
In Japan, the Slash Garnish is priced at ¥52,800 ($330).

Painting adds ¥33,000 ($200), shipping ¥6,600 ($40), and the wood trim piece ¥24,530 ($150), totaling ¥116,930 ($720) for the full package before installation.
