Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Saturday that officials who authorized a weapons warehouse in a residential area outside Kyiv will face accountability, following a Russian strike that triggered fatal secondary explosions.
The incident in Vyshneve killed 10 people and caused widespread damage, according to The Guardian.

"This was a direct violation of both the law and a decision of the supreme commander-in-chief's staff," Zelenskyy said.
The president emphasized the government's strict stance against those who permitted the facility to operate in a residential zone.
"The responsible officials have been identified and the state's position is that each of them must be held accountable," he stated.
Zelenskyy demanded that all industrial directors take strict preventative measures across the country.
"Every enterprise manager must ensure that such tragedies are never repeated," he said.
Broader Aerial Assault
The announcement came amid broader aerial assaults on Saturday, during which Russian missile and drone attacks killed eight additional people across Ukraine, including a child.
Zelenskyy noted that the strikes occurred unexpectedly in the capital.
"Civilian infrastructure was hit even before the air raid alert was issued," he said.
He added that while defensive systems successfully intercepted numerous incoming projectiles, some remained unstoppable.
"We managed to shoot down most of the targets – but not the ballistic ones," Zelenskyy said.
In his nightly video address, the president also outlined plans to reform international relations to accelerate the arrival of promised Western weapons.
