German forward Karim Adeyemi has completed his transfer to Barcelona in a deal worth up to 29 million euros.
He signed a contract through 2031, committing his long-term future to the Spanish club.

The move reunites Adeyemi with head coach Hansi Flick, whom he worked with during Flick's tenure with the Germany national team.
Adeyemi highlighted their existing relationship as the decisive factor behind his decision.
“The main reason I’m here is Flick,” Adeyemi said. “I’ve talked to him from the first moment and he explained what he needed from me.
I’m here for whatever I need.”
Adeyemi emphasized his willingness to adapt to any offensive role. “I don’t care where I play.
I’ve played in all attacking positions.
I will do it where the coach tells me and where I can help the team the most,” he added.

He also detailed his discussions with Flick during negotiations, noting the manager demanded total commitment. “We had a long conversation.
He asked me if I was ready. I told him I was ready to give it my all.
I’m here to train hard and help the team,” Adeyemi said.
Reflecting on the opportunity after a challenging campaign, Adeyemi expressed surprise and gratitude. “When I found out, I couldn’t believe it; my last season wasn’t my best.
Flick has been a pillar of support. He said ‘I want you, but I need you to give it all.’
For me, it’s a unique opportunity,” he stated.

Adeyemi also named Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho as his role models at Barcelona.
