"As far as we concerned our number one priority would be to find Suzy's body, her skeleton," Richard said.
"We want to bury her remains or scatter her ashes where we want to and not where her killer did."

Cold-case homicide unit officers are continuing an active review of Operation Phoebus, the original investigative framework.
"I'm not going to go out hunting for the body because I just don't know where to look," Richard said.
"We've had lots of people suggesting ideas and thoughts about what happened but it's come to nothing."
After the disappearance, Lamplugh's parents established the Suzy Lamplugh Trust in 1986.
The trust has transformed national approaches to personal safety, workplace security, and stalking legislation across the United Kingdom.
"Cannan died and left no confession. That's extremely sad," Richard said.
"We never got answers from Cannan. These guys are evil, they play with the public and they want their names out there."
Legal reforms following the case led to the Protection from Harassment Act 1997, explicit stalking offences in 2012, and updated powers under the Crime and Policing Act 2026 allowing courts to issue Stalking Protection Orders during trial proceedings.
"The saddest part is that my parents died not knowing what happened. We might do the same but it would be amazing for some answers," Richard said.
Advocacy groups continue to push for earlier identification of stalking behaviors, highlighting increased harassment threats from modern social media platforms.
"The trust is really something to celebrate. They've got a good team they do a great job," Richard said.

"I've always thought my sister was groomed, or certainly stalked, and she probably wasn't aware of it."
