Metropolitan Police detectives are searching for a man in a lobster costume who punched a spectator unconscious outside London's Alexandra Palace.
The assault occurred after a World Darts Championship match on December 13, 2025.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was leaving the North London venue at approximately 4:30 p.
m. when he got into an argument with a group of men wearing lobster outfits.
Security staff initially separated the parties on site.
Shortly after the initial encounter, the victim ran into the group again on the venue concourse.
One of the men in costume punched him, knocking him unconscious and causing serious injuries that required hospital assessment.
Seven months after the assault, authorities confirmed the victim continues to suffer from significant injuries.
Investigating officers released a CCTV image of the suspect taken at the venue to help identify him and jog witnesses' memories.

Police Appeal for Information
Detective Constable Lizzie Coster, who is leading the investigation, expressed concern for the victim's recovery while appealing to the public for assistance.
"Our thoughts are with the victim in this case, and we hope the best for his recovery," Coster said.
The investigator emphasized that the distinctiveness of the suspect's attire could aid in gathering information from individuals who were present during the major sporting event.
"This assault occurred outside at a major sporting event, and the suspect was wearing a distinctive costume," Coster said.
Investigators urge attendees and local witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist the ongoing inquiry.
"We are releasing a CCTV image of the suspect in the hope that it will jog the memory of attendees, or anyone else who was in the area at the time," Coster said.
