Another protester, Romer Martínez, emphasized the necessity for broad political inclusion in the upcoming talks.
"We are asking that all democratic and political factors in the country be taken into account in that dialogue table, so that we can move towards a path to transition, but a well-managed path without improvisations," Martínez told the BBC.

Leadership Calls for Elections
Leadership from the Vente Venezuela party highlighted that democratic elections are a mandatory step for any valid political transition in the country.
"We trust in the good will, desire, and interest that our foreign allies have to see the country in democracy," said Vente Venezuela national organization coordinator Henry Alviárez.
Alviárez stated that citizens are exhausted and seeking genuine reconciliation while demanding freedom for political detainees.
"There will be no transformation here until these people leave power, but we cannot talk about democracy, and let that go to the people who are going to negotiate the rights of Venezuelans, if political prisoners continue to exist," Alviárez said.
Addressing the crowd regarding the path forward, Alviárez reiterated the core stance of the movement.
